Monitoring and Quality Committee

This Committee is composed of three members of the Board of Directors, the President and Executive Director of the Agence and the Regional Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner, pursuant to Article 397 of the Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services, R.S.Q., chapter S.4.2. The Director of Human Resources, Information and Planning acts as secretary without voting rights.

The Committee’s mandate

  • Follow up, for the Board of Directors, on recommendations by the Regional Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner or by the Health Services Ombudsman.
  • Ensure that the Agence fulfills its responsibilities with regard to service quality and respect for users’ rights.
  • Receive and analyze the reports and recommendations transmitted to the Board of Directors by the Regional Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner or by the Health Services Ombudsman.
  • Establish systematic links between these reports and recommendations, and draw the necessary conclusions to formulate recommendations.
  • Make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the follow-up that should be given to these reports or recommendations in the aim of improving service quality.
  • Follow up with the Board of Directors regarding its implementation of the recommendations made by the Committee.
  • Analyze the reports of ministerial visits to assess the quality of substitute environments, follow up on these reports with the Board of Directors and formulate recommendations as needed.
  • See to it that the Regional Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner has the human, physical and financial resources required to fulfill his or her responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
