Welcome, on behalf of the members of the Executive Committee of the Montreal Regional Department of General Medicine (DRMG). We became a part of the Agence (formerly the Regional Board) over 4 years ago. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then. |

This partnership, made up of the DRMG’s general practitioners, who come from a number of backgrounds and all practice in Montreal, working side by side with the experienced team of managers within the Agence, is facing quite a challenge.
The DRMG is a directorate in its own right within the Agence. It reports directly to Mr. David Levine, President and Executive Director of the Agence, who provides us with unflinching support. We also wish to highlight the work carried out in harmony with the Direction des affaires médicales et universitaires (Directorate of Medical and University Affairs), led by Dr. Michel Marcil. We cannot fail to mention the expertise put at our disposal whenever it is needed: planning, communications or Direction de la santé publique experts who often provide input for our deliberations. |
