Québec Breast Cancer Screening Program

Taking part in the Québec Breast Cancer Screening Program: It’s your decision

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. In Québec, it is estimated that one in nine women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. The best protection against this cancer are early screening and especially mammograms. This is why it is important to inform women about screening and to facilitate access to mammograms.

Since 1998, the Québec Breast Cancer Screening Program (PQDCS) has enabled women aged 50 to 69 to have access to a free screening mammogram every two years.
